International acclaimed Mexican/ Spanish duo of directors Los Pérez arrive to our roster.
Composed of Tania Verduzco and Adrián Pérez meet Los Pérez their unique style, and absolute determination to reign in the mexican market, bring in the new blood and attitude that the market is claiming for! En Español!!
Adrián and Tania met at the Center of Cinematography studies in Cataluña where they began to collaborate together in scripts and short films. Later created Nephasto where they focused on making videoclips with film type narrative and aesthetics. A lot of their work has been rewarded and recognized by channels like MTV and musical media like Fubiz, Promo New, Vimeo Staff Pick, Mondo Sonoro and Rockdelux. Both have directed commercials and advertising pieces in production houses such as Pyramid studio, Arena Shots, Axis Films and The Picnic. Nowadays, they are represented by Tesauro for TV advertising.
Adrián combines his film career with music. Besides being the singer and composer of CatPeople, one of the most important independent bands of Spain, Adrián has made soundtracks for various film projects and commercials.
Tania was born in Mexico D.F, studied at Universidad Iberoamericana and began working as assistant director and Post-producer for some of the most prestigious production houses in Mexico. She has recognition at the Young Directors Award in Cannes for her spot “Impacto” in 2009. Her short film “Pin-Up” has been awarded at prestigious film festivals like Sitges, where she obtained a special mention from the jury and has been pre-selected by the Spanish Academy in the shortlist to the Goya Award for best fiction short film.
