ALL, NEWS, THE MEXICO WE LOVE

PlayStation is turning TV on its head with Furlined,’s Henry Hobson

The rules for television have changed, and PlayStation is here to usher in the new era of renegade media consumption in a campaign from Venables Bell & Partners.

Directed by Furlined,’s Henry Hobson with Oscar nominated cinemtagrapher Greig Fraser, “Rules” is all about the PlayStation Vue, a new way to watch television. It’s a live streaming TV services, complete with all of your favorite shows, sports, news, and events, but without the annual contracts that drive the average at-home watcher mad. To show just all of the capabilities of the Vue, Hobson highlights some familiar genres, from the Game of Thrones-esque winter fantasy, to live sporting, to your favorite crime drama procedural.

We were thrilled to service this project for our friends at Furlined,, using locations throughout Mexico City to best exemplify each vignette. We shot at the Cemetery in Naucalpan just outside Mexico City, the Desierto de Los Leones Woods for those epic battle scenes set in snow, Cruz Azul Stadium for that game-time streaking, the Chamber of Commerce, the Reforma Skyline and many more coveted spots that lend an authentic feel to the campaign.

“Rules” marks the start of the campaign for PlayStation Vue, with more to roll out later this year. Be sure to watch this space for more PlayStation adventures as they come.
