ALL, NEWS, THE MEXICO WE LOVE, THE WORK WE LOVE

Looking back on Markus Walter’s direction for Wolfenstein II

Video games simultaneously require and establish unique worlds unto themselves. So when we worked with Markus Walter last year to capture the layered reality within Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, it was nothing short of a feat of creativity.

The five spots, which are meant to reflect fictional television shows that exist within the reality of the video game, required equal parts action and imagination. The shoot brought us to a variety of locations in and around Mexico City, where we were tasked with creating an authentic 1950s set, capturing footage to exist alongside lively special effects, and so much more. From flipping a truck that sets on fire to tapping into the interesting world of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, it was an unforgettable project. Much like “Liesel,” which is above, each of the five videos have their own unique energy, so be sure to check out the rest for a little blast from the production past: “Trust In Brother”, “German or Else!”, “Blitzmensch”, and “Hans Elite”.
