Carlos Cuaron, Oscar Award nominee, was born in Mexico City although he considers his heart to beat at Andorra’s pace. Fourteen years writing, directing and producing for the movie industry, theatre and television have given him a lifetime of experiences which are reflected in his work as an ad director. His career started in Z Films in 1998 and in 2009 he joined The Lift’s roaster. In 2012 he wrote, produced and directed his second film: “Besos de Azúcar”, with his constantly great talent for transmitting human stories.

Cuaron includes among his accolades some major awards such as an Ariel for the best plot in “Sólo con tu pareja” and a Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival for “Y tu mamá también”. He believes that format isn’t what matters; it’s people that make stories happen.
