Mexico City and its surrounding parts are full of astounding locations for both commercial and film shoots. One of our favorites is Museo Hacienda de San Cristobal Polaxtla—a place that brought a recent Martin de Thurah spot to new levels.
You may recognize Museo Hacienda de San Cristobal Polaxtla in scenes from the Audi spot we collaborated on with Martin de Thurah earlier this year. Located in San Martín Texmelucan, Puebla, the grounds and buildings behind the iron gates are full of creative treasures that we utilized during our shoot. With vast windows, timeless art pieces, and an impeccable aesthetic, the hacienda offered up stunning shots for the project and helped us fully encapsulate a truly epic tale.
The glorious spot enables any and all visitors to travel back in time, a quality that Martin treasured in order to perfect his vision to portray the energy and power of Audi. While the date of the hacienda’s creation is unknown, it does predate San Martin Texmelucan itself, proving to be a relic of true power. As the years went on the grounds continued to grow in an attempt to become a smaller version of the famed Palace of Versailles.
