Tim Erem splashed onto the scene just a few years ago and has made major waves directing music videos for the likes of Rihanna, Drake, Tove Lo, Katy Perry, MØ and Major Lazer.

The Diktator director has served up several viral videos in the past year alone. His latest work on well, “Work,” from Rihanna hit 13.5 million views in 24 hours, prompting the director to turn off his social media notifications as he told Billboard. “I think I’ve probably [been] getting at least 2,000 likes the past 24 hours which is a lot for me but probably not for Rihanna.”

Born in Sweden and based in LA, Tim brings an energy and concise vision to every video he works on. But you can go ahead and see that for yourself, perhaps on his video for MØ featuring Diplo, or Major Lazer or the recent “Close” with Nick Jonas and Tove Lo. Visually euphoric, and narratively captivating, that’s the way Tim does it.
