Partizan’s Sing J. Lee directed the blue-haired songstress’ blow-out hit “Now or Never,” which just picked up a nomination for Best Cinematography from the MTV VMAs.
Kristof Brandl served as the director of photography on the video which finds Halsey and her love interest on the lam, falling in love against all odds, as a gang tries to tear them apart.
“Now or Never” marks Halsey’s first video after her mega-success with “Closer,” a collaboration with The Chainsmokers. This time, she gets to take a wild ride around Mexico City, complete with beautiful costumes, a touch of mysticism, some gunfire, a lot of action, and of course a great track to go with.
Catch the video above and be sure to watch the MTV VMA’s on August 27th, hosted by Katy Perry.
