The Vimeo Staff Pick-laden reel of Caviar’s Jordan Bahat is truly something to behold.

Of course there’s the many music videos he’s directed and earn accolades for, like his work for Fitz and the Tantrums, Grouplove, or Twenty One Pilots. There’s his branded content work for Equinox, Samsung, and Gatorade that’s blurred the boundary between auteur filmmaking and commercial work.

Jordan Bahat got his start in documentary filmmaking, and that’s just the kind of project we want to highlight. “The Bullet,” follows the world record-holding human cannonball known simply as David “The Bullet” Smith Jr., and premiered at Slamdance last year. It’s a short that embraces an enigmatic figure against a quintessentially American canvas, and like so many of his other projects, nabbed a Vimeo Staff Pick accolade to put next to its special jury mention at Slamdance.
