Christian Weber joined us last year in Mexico to shoot a project that for one reason or another never saw the light of day.

This month, we welcome Christian back to Mexico City for another tremendous shoot with Park Pictures. He’s a gifted photographer-turned-filmmaker, who takes his years of experience photographing prize-winning stills to create a unique approach to his branded work and short films. His work has been shown at the New York Fashion Film Festival, Creators Project in Tokyo, Musee d’art Moderne in Luxembourg, and in his own monographic exhibition at the Southeastern Museum of Photography.

His branded work boasts collaborations with Nike, HP, Levi’s, Sony, Audi, Showtime, and BMW, among many notable others. His work with Mini earlier this year was lauded as one of the top Super Bowl spots. The “Defy Labels” campaign starred Serena Williams, Harvey Keitel, T-Pain, Tony Hawk, and Abby Wambach, in what Mini described as a “campaign [that] inspires people to shed the labels society has placed upon them and instead define themselves.”
