We couldn’t be happier to announce that Jose Antonio Prat is back with The Lift for representation.
Prat hails from right here in Mexico City, though he’s currently based in New York City. Among his most notable work includes spots for Axe (Ponce Buenos Aires), MTV (La Comunidad), French Lotto, Renault (Publicis Argentina), and Sixt Rental Cars (BETC Paris).
A self-taught, ex-adman, Prat is a true observer – of situations, other directors (including his mentor early in his career, Paul Arden), and environments. He spends his non-filmmaking time riding his bicycle around New York, diehard fanning for Real Madrid, hiking, and finding new adventures (made all the better when accompanied by his two daughters).
In addition to the array of upcoming amazing commercial work we can expect from Sr. Prat, he’s also in the early stages of creating a documentary about Spain in the early 80’s.
Prat on returning to The Lift: “I’ve had a great partnership with Avelino and The Lift in the past, and we’ve done some extraordinary work together. I’m looking forward to continuing to build on that relationship and to produce some stellar work. Also, I’m Mexican, so it’s always nice to return to the homeland, so to speak… my mom gives me a hard time because I don’t visit more often!”
Below is a few selects from Prat’s esteemed catalog of work for your enjoyment.
