We’re headed to AICP New York this week

We’re off to New York this week to celebrate AICP with many of our friends and collaborators across the advertising space.

AICP Week kicked off yesterday and continues throughout the week with the Next Awards and AICP Show, as well as talks from agency and production company executives. The shortlist was just released and boasts appearances from many of our friends, including Arts & Sciences, Biscuit, Blink, Epoch, Furlined, Prettybird, RadicalMedia, Rattling Stick, R E S E T Content, and RSA.

While every shortlist marks exceptional work by our colleagues, we wanted to highlight a few projects that caught our eye. “Donate Life” directed by Furlined’s Speck and Gordon for The Martin Agency and LoveChild takes an unlikely approach to highlighting organ donation that combines vulgarity, humor, action, and of course a downright entertaining film starring Thomas Jane.

Arts & Sciences directors Adam and Dave directed “Johnsonville” out of Droga5 that’s nominated in a number of categories. The campaign imagines what it would be like to have the family-owned company come up with their own ideas for commercials and the result is utter self-aware humor.

Lasly, the dynamic director duo that is Daniels directed a spot for Nike that goes far and beyond the brand’s known mantra “Just Do It.” “Unlimited You” premiered during the Olympics Opening Ceremony and features creative from Wieden + Kennedy Portland and narration from Oscar Isaac to showcase everyday people achieving magnificent goals.
