Congratulations to all of the winners, and all those who were shortlisted at this week’s AICP Awards in New York.
We were happy to celebrate with so many friends and collaborators, and honor the best our industry has produced in the last year.
Our friends at RSA and Smuggler tied for production companies with the most wins across both award shows. The NEXT honors highlighted some of the best by way of cause marketing, experiential, viral web, etc. but one of the absolute highlights was RSA’s winning The Martian VR Experience, which allowed users to immerse themselves in Matt Damon’s role in the film and see if they could survive on Mars.
There were so many stand out pieces in the award show at large, including stunning work from Martin de Thurah who picked up two honors for his cinematic Under Armour spot, “Gymnastics” in Editorial and Cinematography (watch spot above). Smuggler’s Miles Jay took home an Editorial award for AT&T’s “It Can Wait.”
Congratulations to all of those honored at this week’s proceedings, and read the full round-up of winners in Shoot.
