ALL, NEWS, THE MEXICO WE LOVE, THE WORK WE LOVE

Common Misconception: Casting in Mexico

While it’s probably clear by now that you can shoot Mexico for just about anywhere in the world (see any number of location fake-outs here, here, and here), there’s an integral part of that that we acknowledge and expertly consider in every job we do, which is casting.

Mexico isn’t just an option for a specific look or place, or the right budget, but you can pull from a diverse body of people and places, and we have the casting directors that do just that. If your script calls for people, our network of casting directors can find the perfect individuals to play those roles (with alternative options left and right).

Look no further than FIFA “Heroines” directed by Yael Staav to see this work at play. Just as you have four regions represented, so too do you have any number of nationalities, ages, and individuals.

Or keeping in the soccer family, take a look at the above spot we did for Twitter entitled “World Cup Anthem.” Never in a million years would you have expected that all those involved were homegrown talent here in Mexico, but sure enough the spot was accomplished locally.

Commercials or even music videos, if you’d like them. In Martin de Thurah’s “Do It Again” we took to the streets of Pachuca to capture Mexicans, Spaniards, Brazilians and more in the spirited dance anthem.

Take a look through our Production Services and you’ll see one project after the next, no two people looking alike and every one unique in its own feel. Can’t wait to cast with you in Mexico!
