Watching someone eat a hot dog has never been more interesting.

That’s because Filip Nilsson has never been one for convention, so why would he take that approach to his new spot for Statoil and some good real hot dogs?

In this spot for Statoil, Juha-Pekka Paramaki prepared a real hot dog with a Caterpillar 8.5 ton excavator. Yes, bun, lettuce, hot dog, even ketchup, and delivered it right to the mouth of the willing tester. Even better – you can imagine all of the takes that were required for the shoot and not once did Peramaki fail to make the perfect hot dog.

The film was produced out of Filip’s production company, Folke Film, the most awarded production company of 2014. No special effects were used – just a good ol’ fashioned hot dog prep with a massive production tool.
