Framestore is an extraordinary creative studio behind some of the best visual effects, production, direction and post-production this industry (and others) have to offer.
If for some reason you don’t believe us, take the Academy Awards or BAFTA or VES or AdAge, or countless other coveted industry accolades’ word for it. Framestore was named a Standout from AdAge this year. They received a VFX nomination, three VES nominations, and a BAFTA nom for their work on Ridley Scott’s The Martian. With offices in London, Montreal, New York, and Los Angeles, they boast work from clients like Samsung (see above), AXE, and Under Armour, and incredible features and television from Spectre to The Martian to Pan, and that was all just within the last year.
Not only do they have more traditional capabilities in-house, but Framestore is also leading the charge in introducing virtual reality into our lexicon. With their own VR studio, they were behind the Game of Thrones scaling of the wall, Merrell’s Trailscape, Interstellar’s promotional VR campaign, and a slew of others you are bound to recognized and be awed by.
We are excited to welcome the co-founder and CCO Mike McGee to Mexico City next week for the Ciclope Festival. He will be discussing the second coming of VR in what is sure to be a riveting and innovative conference.
Keep up to date with all things VR as they relate to the impressive Framestore here.
