As believers in following your dreams, we and The Lift Producer José Aguirre were so excited to work alongside Prettybird, Director Eric Wareheim, Executive Producer Ali Brown, Producer Jeff Tanner, and Yanga Casting to support Mailchimp’s mission to expand the reach of small businesses.

From a rock-n-roll yoga studio, to a bustling street corner, to a modern and fresh office space, Mailchimp’s “More Than a Small Business” campaign took us all over Mexico City. Showing off infinite entrepreneurial possibilities required a wide range of both locations and casting. “It was an amazing and fun project to be part of” said The Lift Producer José Aguirre, “Eric’s creativity pours out and it really shows. Also, we got kick-ass locations for this one.” Luckily, Eric was familiar with spots around the city as well from his travels as an established food fanatic, and our collective knowledge of the space allowed us to find the perfect scenery to tell this story.

Our family at Yanga Casting supported the vision of this campaign by providing world class talent. “When I received the treatment for Mailchimp, it was light and fun,” recalled Yanga Casting Director on this project Daniela Parks, “every selected talent was unique, with their own spark and personality that could portray the beauty of the small business owner’s Mailchimp supports daily.”

Even with all this variety in places and people, this project maintains a wonderfully cohesive message of doing what you love and sharing it with others. We are so happy with how it turned out, check out the spots below!
