ALL, NEWS, THE MEXICO WE LOVE, THE WORK WE LOVE

Making something special with Diktator and Lex Halaby

We have something really exciting in the works with Diktator and Lex Halaby in collaboration with Ogilvy Mexico that marks a first for us here at The Lift.

While we have to stay tight-lipped about the thrilling work to come, let’s take a moment to revisit some of Lex’s incredible work, which is a testament to the director’s innovation within interactive media, filmmaking, and virtual reality.

“Cycling Pathways to Mars” featured Buzz Aldrin in a fame experience that included holographic video of the iconic astronaut in his envisioned manned mission to Mars. Viewers get to travel through the solar system with one of the most legendary features in space exploration.

On the more comical side of things, Lex has worked with Funny or Die on a number of projects, including “Interrogation” a 360 3D sketch starring Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel that premiered at Sundance, and Emma Watson and Dan Stevens in a collaboration with Disney for Beauty and the Beast.

We’re excited for Lex to bring his innovative mind to play in Mexico City. Stay tuned for more details!
