If you’re thinking something looks different, you’re right. The Lift got a facelift!

We are thrilled to finally launch the redesign of our website. Like any creative endeavor, the process was a journey that involved imagination, collaboration, research, and self-reflection about who we are, the work we are making, and where we are going.

“We launched our previous website in 2012. Since then, our main focus has evolved to focus solely on production services for our international partners and to put our producers on the frontline of our work. This is where our vision of empowering creativity through service excellence is best received, ” said Jose Barrera, one of our Partners.

Updating our website at this point in time, just shy of our 15th anniversary, felt necessary. As evidenced through our recent expansion into Guadalajara, we are growing and are busier than ever. The core essence of who we are as producers, collaborators, and creatives is the same, but we wanted a new and improved way to tell our story.

To help us translate this evolution into an updated website design, we worked with our friends at Funkhaus to define the visual style and narrative language that reflect our matured value propositioning, activities, and scope. The final design is inspired by the editorial layouts in art books. Our work is artful and cinematic, and to convey that, we chose a clean aesthetic with a functionality that feels akin to flipping through a book. We also infused our appearance with a new typeface and more vibrant colors. Overall, the redesign highlights the work of our amazing Producers, the people who define the work we do at The Lift.
