We’ve all been there: you’re browsing around a store, entering an acquaintance’s home, or patiently in line at your go-to coffee shop and it happens—that moment when that one-of-a-kind item turns out to be not so original at all.
With Etsy, there’s no more settling for same. In the most recent campaign for the e-commerce website, we worked to playfully capture the horrific moment of realization that your special item is just one of the same. Directed by Greg Brunkalla and produced by Christopher Cho, the project was a creative wonder with a thrilling team. Honing in on the element of horror, we crafted spots that poked fun at the truly frightening nature of those situations, bringing in the classic tunes and tropes of scary films. From nods to “The Shining” and beyond, they’re fun spots for a website that is centered on creativity.
