Empowerment is at the core of our mission at The Lift. As we work towards our many goals, we are proud that the women on our team act as key components in building our future and shaping the film industry as a whole.

Today we are celebrating International Women’s Day, with the knowledge that everyday is a celebration of the accomplishments of our sisters at The Lift. Read below to hear from our strategic leadership team members about their dedications, passions, and hopes for the future.

VIRNA WINCKLEMANN, THE LIFT C.O.O

Virna’s vision as C.O.O of the Lift is making the Lift a workplace reference not only in Mexico but internationally. Her love for her country drives her toward making it the best destination for the film industry.

“I want to promote an equitable and egalitarian workspace with good foundations for all, seeking respect and harmony in the broadest sense of the word.”

ANA KAREN BALLESTEROS DÍAZ, TRANSFORMATION DIRECTOR

Ana Karen loves being part of an organization driven by creativity and challenging dynamics. She aims to transform our ecosystem through continuous improvement and positive leadership.

“My goal is to positively impact our ecosystem, basing our work on a culture of values and under the highest ethical standards. To seek the well-being of our teams and the communities we influence, promoting sustainable practices and care for our environment”.

MARCELA SOLARES DELGADO, ESG DIRECTOR

Marcela’s experience makes her the right fit to meet the ESG needs at the Lift. Her objective is clear: She wants to contribute to projects that lead the industry to be a pillar in constructing fairer, environmentally conscious societies executed in safe, healthy, and positive ecosystems that promote individual and collective development.

PATRICIA SÁNCHEZ DÁVALOS, EP AND ENTERTAINMENT MANAGING PARTNER

Patricia’s experience in the entertainment industry has allowed her to have a clear vision of her role as a key player in our ecosystem:

PAOLA GÓMEZ, TALENT, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Paola’s hands-on approach comes from the values of inclusiveness and wide representation in which Yanga grounds its operations.

“I am committed to building practices that generate respectful commercial ties and awareness about the importance of image rights. I think it is also important to spread the values we center at YANGA; inclusion and wide representation”.

NATALIA CASANOVA, PRODUCER

Natalia’s positiveness and high energy have led her to keep learning and growing as she loves the constant challenge of becoming a better person every day:

“I am a person who believes that you can change the world one at a time, and I try to preach that, even if it takes forever. I always try to give more than 100% towards being a correct, fair, honest, and generally good person. This includes the planet, responsible consumption, treating all human beings equally, and nothing less than that”.

HELENA MEDINA LOMELÍ, PRODUCER
