If you’re in the world of film, odds are you know Alma Har’el.

Her work has earned her a spot among the most celebrated directors of any production company. Most notably within the last couple of years, she has been driving force behind Free the Bid, a campaign aimed at creating a more representative playing field in the world of advertising. The initiative seeks to create equal opportunities for women bidding for jobs in the commercial industry, and has succeeded in getting opt-ins from many of the top advertising agencies, including 72andSunny, BBDO, Publicis, and DDB, and brands such as AirBnb, Coca Cola, Levi’s, Visa, and HP, to name a few.

Alma’s work includes critically and publicly lauded campaigns for P&G at the Winter Olympics, Chanel, Stella Artois, Facebook, and AirBnb, always bringing a distinct, art-focused view with her. She also directed the film Bombay Beach and the acclaimed Fjogur Piano music video for Sigur Ros.
