ALL, NEWS, THE WORK WE LOVE

2019 Wrap Up – A Q&A with Fuad Abed Dalton

Producer Fuad Abed Dalton has a hand in nearly everything we do at The Lift. From crafting creative concepts to planning budgets, Fuad is an integral team player. We sat down with him to take a look back at 2019 and chat about what’s ahead for The Lift in 2020.

Q: What work from 2019 are you most proud of?

A: Macy’s, Vimeo, Nike, Hazard, Hennessy, Samsung, many… almost all of them.

Q: What is something you learned in 2019 that you want to keep with you moving into next year?

A: It’s good to go slow sometimes. Take your time on each project, enjoy the process, and once you finish, jump to the next. This wasn’t the case this year, but I did learn this to be very important in my life.

Q: Were there any specific songs/movies/television shows/cultural moments that defined 2019 for you?

A: I feel we’re in the middle of a massive cultural movement. The world is changing, UK is hitting brexit, US has political trouble, Latin America, everywhere you look there is change happening. I think this inspires all of us. Every time there is change you are pushed creatively… I think this is what is defining my 2019.

Q: What are you looking forward to in 2020?

A: Fireflies Alps and West maybe? Keep on growing and producing. We did sooo many cool and challenging jobs in 2019, that I just cant wait for the new decade to begin.

As the man said, we will certainly keep growing, producing, and pushing forward creatively in 2020. Stay tuned for exciting projects to come in the new year!
